Hey All!
Mastiff is teaching our fourth class so far this year and the next one is our flagship course, Pistolcraft 101.
This class is designed for both the experienced shooter as well as the brand new gun owner. You can ALWAYS learn something from experienced, certified professional instruction. Our instructors have breadth as well as depth in the area of firearms instruction pulling talent from the military, law enforcement and the civilian world. In addition to our own firearms and tactics training and certifications, all of us have experience in teaching and have studied adult learning and coaching for performance.
The class runs 4 hours: 1 hour of classroom instruction and the rest of the time is spent on the range. This is a fast paced class and we cover a LOT of material in that time. Its not physically demanding so pretty much anyone can participate. Our youngest student has been 10 and our oldest was 80.
We cover basic firearms safety, carry options, storage and operation. We discuss the legalities of carrying and using a firearm to protect yourself both in public as well as in your home or business. A fighting mindset is stressed throughout the class.
We will show you how to optimize your grip, stance, and sight picture for accuracy and proficient gun handling. We can quickly diagnose any marksmanship issues or bad habits and get you dialed in quickly so you can learn faster. Regardless of where you start in your knowledge and experience, you will end the class making multiple hits on your targets from behind cover.
This class will be on Saturday, April 11th, at Hillside Shooting Sports in Roanoke Indiana. Class starts at 9:00 and runs until 1:00. As always, we will stick around afterward to answer questions and talk a bit more if you want. Cost for the class is $150. If you bring a friend or family member, you get your class half off!
