I put my faith in the Holy Ghost...

And, consequently, I believe that most assuredly that another "spiritual" dimension exists in this world and the beings in it can act within ours.

But, do I think that "ghosts" are just folks stuck between worlds? No, I do not.

You know i really don't know. I'm kinda stuck in between. I've heard some pretty good stories and I have had some experiences myself. But I live on that everything can somehow be explained.

I believe the human mind is very powerful. So powerful that you can be fooled into thinking you saw or heard something that is not there. Anyone ever have a vivid daydream and be disoriented from it, because it seemed so real?

True, but I doubt my mind stacked the dishes, opened the cabinet doors, or made my legos move across the floor.

We live in a house that was built on a site where there had been several other homes, including a 2 story log cabin, and we are haunted. Visitor's have heard what sounds like breaking glass, footsteps upstairs when everyone is downstairs, stereos and battery operated radios that come on all at once at full volume, voices and some other stuff. If it were just me I would buy into the active imagination but family and friends have heard these things as well. We also find stuff moved around in the morning on occasion....it is normally something we have been looking for that has suddenly appeared on a coffee table or counter top. Really, we are not just crazy. I do believe in spooks, I do believe in spooks........

    I do believe in Ghosts.

I used to work at a place that was located in a very old house. Some of the most sane people I've ever met had all kinds of experiences in that house that made them believers.

Even the custodian had an incident. He told me, "I don't believe in Ghosts, but I saw one in the basement by the elevator."

No, it took a little getting used to but they are just noises and when something more happens it is always helpful. One thing that is interesting is that if we move furniture or do something major to the house it really stirs them up and they get much more active. Right after my husband died, he was at home with cancer, my daughter would come home after I was in bed and find the light on where my husband would wait up for her. As she would reach her bedroom door it would go off......just like when he had been there to tell her goodnight. It kind of made me feel protected.

My new husband had some pretty rough times getting used to it all but now he just accepts it as part of a package deal----he got me and all my spirit friends. I think it keeps him in line, lol!

Are you sure about that? Can you remember the circumstances before this happened? What was your mood? Has anything like this happened since?

I think the mind is capable of healing and much more. Some think that prayer helps utilize some of those latent powers.
I read something once that said mammals once had the ability to regrow limbs as reptiles do, but somewhere along the way we lost it. They studied electrical properties of amputations in both reptile and mammal and both start the same initially but something prevents the mammal process. I think this could become unlocked one day.
Never underestimate the power of your mind :):

The wife and I both have seen one of our dogs that had passed away walking in the back hallway. We used to have a ghost cat jump up onto the bed and you could feel it walking around, but we never saw it.
