I've thought of that, but if I have to put the money out for a new barrel I thought I'd drop it down to 9mm. More readily available subsonic rounds being the primary reason.

How do you like the StormLake barrel? I'm thinking really hard of getting a M&P, but I think I want to get it in .40(since that is what I use) but get a threaded StormLake conversion barrel to convert it down to 9 so I can put a can on it.

In short, I love it! I have the 4.95inch model so it looks a little weird but I like the extra accuracy (or perceived accuracy as I doubt an extra half inch really does anything) . I have the Apex sear and with the sear and barrel this is as close to a target 9mm as you can get. Target sights might help me a little more, but I haven't found a set that I really like so im just rocking the factory standard.

Well worth the money.

AmeriGlo Pro Operator rear, and their Pro Glo front sight.
Nice wide rear notch, plain black with tritium, front sight has tritium and dayglo orange.
