we all have or have seen knives that we thought it's pretty good but if you did _________ it would be way better. so heres the question, pick a knife or two but you can only choose one thing to make it better.

    1. spyderco tenacious

one thing I would change: better blade steel because it's about perfect in every other way. it doesn't have to be cpmM4(a guy can wish though) but at least 154cm if not s30v. I have said ever since this knife came out that if they changed that it would be one of their top sellers.

    2. kershaw leek

one thing I would change: just be a bit bigger. I know the reasons for it being small but I personally find it SO awkward to open especially so in the brushed aluminum ones which at least they fixed that in the s30v version by adding G10 grips.

first. i would change: the country where it's made. needs to be made here in the USA.
second:it needs a wider tang, micarta scales, and a pommel. i don't mind the AUS 8, eve though it's not the best for edge retention, because it's rust resistance in wet situations.
got to love the price point!

Any Zero Tolerance model. I like the size and weight. They conceal well in the pocket and fit well in my hand. However, if I could change one thing, I would include a wave feature for faster deployment.

I love my Spyderco Tencacious and I agree with you its near perfect, I dont see what I would change.
I like the steel they use, its very easy to keep sharp so that's not what I would change.
Maybe I would change the G10 on the grip, its a bit too smooth for me.

My Spyderco Tenacious - I wish the handle were better suited to the blade. This means a thinner handle in which the blade would sit further down in.

Other than that I absolutely love it.

Buck 110 - make a version with a drop point
Buck 112 - make a version with a drop point

BK Necker - use stock that's maybe 10% thinner than what they use now, or make them a little wider (want a thinner edge)

My beef with is with Gerber in general. Many models I like (lmf, Applegate, MKII, LHR, etc) are not even offered in a plain, non combo edge. I f#%#ing hate serrated blades! I have yet to find a choir that a serrated edge works as well as a sharp plain edged knife. If I wanted a saw, I will use a saw. My favorite is when models have a finger choil butting up against serrations. I have a real hard time making that work for me.

As much as I love the wave, the finger flipper on the back of an open assisted knife is pretty damn fast on the draw.

You guys are gonna think I'm crazy! But I would like to have a little bit longer ZT0300, about 1/2" to 1" it would probably be a perfect knife for me. :D

I guess that would be a folding machete would'nt it!

I'd be up for it. As long as I can clip it to my pants without it hitting the bottom of my pocket, bigger is better.

    1. Move the laynyard hole on the Strider SNG.
Over all I really like this knife, but the fact the blade touches the mini lanyard I have on it bugs the heck out me.

    2. Change the blade shape of the ZT 300 series knives.
I understand that recurves have a place. But i just dont like them for EDC. I think a simple plain edge drop point would be great.
