Showing respect for the muslim faith during his buried was the best thing to do.

Im not religious but I respect every religions.
I wouldnt show any respect to Bin Laden's body but showing respect for the muslim faith is another story.
Millions of muslims around the world (including US muslims) are happy that he died but they still want to see their own religion respected.

I'm not sure what else they could do. If they buried him, that spot would become a shrine. Best to dump the carcass with the rest of the day's trash. They needed to do that quickly too before anyone could protest the disposal.

True, I was just hoping our government could be more, creative, in the disposal of his body. Then again, hard telling what happened between him getting shot and him getting tossed overboard.

But, I was hoping something along the lines of what happened to Mussolini's body.

I've been worried about that all day.

Nobody focuses on how many times the Bush adm. could have gotten him but never had the go ahead because they didn't have 100% confirmation. At that time, he was wondering through and hiding in the mountains. Him being in a city just kind of made it easy to find him.

At any rate, doesn't matter what I think, besides the fact he's gone and the world is a better place.

Bin Laden wasn't a follower of Islam. He was a crook that used the faith for his own purposes.

He is not his religion, and his religion is not him. He was a criminal terrorist, not an Islamic ambassador. Did he or his cronies pay the least bit of attention to proper Muslim tradition when torturing and killing other Muslims? No. So then why should we do more for him then he did for others?
