huh, sorry didn't realize that MG trumped the SBR... was thinking along the lines of SBR & suppressed....

My apoligizes for my incorrect thought process.

    *gracefully bows out***

You'd be right on the SBR and suppressor. For that matter, you'd be right if it were an MG and a suppressor.

No word on the manufacturer, it looked fairly old

Many manufacturers made fully automatic pistols in the early part of the 20th century, including fully automatic revolvers.

The weapon in the video is a Colt originally designed to combat criminals during the '30s. Colt made them in .45 and .38 Super (to penetrate car bodies) for evaluation by federal and state police.

Fully automatic pistols are around today, but very specialized.

Hypothetically, if one were to have recently experienced a 1911 going full auto, one would most likely have crapped their pants and immediately sent said hypothetical full auto 1911 back to the manufacturer to have a new sear installed. Hypothetically.

I had a friend that had a full auto 1911. I watched him fire it once, and decided it was more than I wanted to try to handle. This was back in the early 70s when full auto was just a tax stamp, and the price of the firearm was about the same as the standard version.

Trying not to get started on my typical rant!

    Gary! Not cool.
Been done before, like Kirk Freeman pointed out. Dillinger owned one in .38 Super, with a compensator and foregrip from a Thompson SMG.. but I could be wrong...anyway here are two Colt factory prototypes:

Having some trouble picturing a full-auto revolver though. Unless it's a modded Mateba or Webley-Fosbery. Do you have more information on this?
