I have a 870 20 gauge and it has a 21" barrel, its main goal is HD but I dont know if its worth the cost of buying an 18" barrel... besides I can get a 3 shot ext. to meet the barrel I have now...

My HD shotgun is a BENELLI M1 SUPER 90 & it has an 18.5 inch barrel, I don't think I would spend the $$$ on an 18 inch barrel

I would just keep the 21" tube on that gun. I would rather have the money to spend on another gun than to rebarrel one that is just fine as is. JMHO.:D

Look in the used racks for the smooth bore 870 18.5 inch barrels. IN 20 they will be harder to track down. Lots of people went to the rifled barrels for hunting and sold off the old smoothbore barrels.

Thet only made like 10 million of them.

People who think that 3" of barrel is going to be the difference between success and failure in a life and death situation only live on the internet.

People who think that "Clearing their house" can only be done with a weapon no longer than their nose sticks out only live on the internet.

    You are fine.
