What makes the beauty of Glocks is how simple they are, little number of parts compared to other pistols, reliable, tough finish of the slide and indestructible polymer frame.It works all the time and that is what makes it beautiful.
No need of gold on them.
Let's leave the gold for the other guns who jam all the time and need gold to make them look pretty.

BTW it says that it's a factory engraving job, they must have hired a engraver just for that run and the fired him when they saw that it didn't help any. I agree, Glock's are the epitome of utilitarian functionality and should stay that way.
