I get the impression Kershaw knives may be on clearance in a lot of places this week. Only because this is like the fourth time I have heard it or read it in the last 24 hours.

I got the OD-1 for like $15 a while back... one heck of a deal!

That being said I will still be hitting up Bradsknives and Knife Lady for other knives.

Just thought I would let everyone know that Walmart at 86th & Michigan has Kershaw Knifes on clearance in the sporting goods section!!!!

That's a shame. Of the folding knives Wal-Mart carries, the Kershaws are most likely the best quality. They'll probably be replace with some Chi-Com turd with a quality firearm manufactures named stamped on the side.

Being able to pick up a good quality at Wal-Mart on a whim is the kind of stuff wet dreams are made of. MC Sports here in Bloomington used to stock Spyderco, Benchmade, etc.... Now it's mostly $20 chi-com crap, with the occasional Buck mixed in. The only local vendor here still carry quality stuff is JL Waters.

you pay for it though. I'm friends with matt the manager who buys all the knives and his words to me were "we sell at MSRP because we can".

I may have to check out what's left at the 86th St store, and also at the Lafayette Rd store.

Anyone notice if there were any 'Skyline' models?

On a side note; I lucked into a sale (that was over, the next day)...on USA-made Buck 119 Special @ WallyWorld.... a few weeks back. Price was $31 and some change, out-the-door. I bought three..... :rockwoot:

I know Schrade Old Timer/ Uncle Henry is made in china now--the Gerber I bought at WallyWorld a few years ago is chinese--thought Buck is made there now. What knives are still made here? I want to support USA manufacturers.
