I'd definitely be on board if you can get your own logos and selector names. I'd pay for that.

I think it would be more prudent to start with a standardized model for the INGO run before we run into custom this/that/the 3rd. Besides, the faster we get these out... the faster people start buying and build up this gentleman's business.

I'd be willing to plan a pick-up/assembly party once these are ready.

Back in the day, there was a company called Tom Sawyer Mfg., who used to offer "blank" lowers that could be customized with any logo, model number, serial number and selector markings the buyer wanted. Since they were all one-offs, by definition, they weren't cheap, but they sure were cool! Around $350 if you wanted everything custom, IIRC. IIRC, when they went out of business, they sold all their engraving equipment and templates to Ryan Buck, who started up Orion Arms shortly thereafter.

Let's be fair and honest about this. Everyone says what they want from this guy and expect him to deliver for about 100 bucks?! This is why we are losing our product manufacturing to China. Longbow - please make them and along the way be fair and honest and I think you will find there are many of us will pay a fair and reasonable price.

I disagree with part of this. All one has to do is look at Essential Arms to see that quality in craftsmanship being put out by a small, low-overhead operation at a reasonable (under $100) price is feasible AND profitable.

$100 is VERY cheap for an AR lower...

That's asking quite a bit from this guy. If he invests his money into getting this going, he should be expected to get a decent return right out of the gate considering this new venture may end within 2 years, you never know...

    Hi "LongbowMachining".

Like I said last week, I will take your first two production units once you get everything up and going.

You might want to consider holding an INGO shoot with a couple completed guns built on your lowers when you have them ready. It would give folks a chance to see your product and put a few rounds down range. If all went well with that, I think it could be a nice selling tool for you. If nothing else, it's an excuse for these guys to get together and blow stuff up.

And of course, I would be willing to help you with any necessary field testing on the prototypes ... assuming you supply the ammo. ;)

Now get to work and make some money. :D

And a non-dorky logo (or even none at all) would be nice, too...
    +1

We need a marked INGO edition. Like for seriously.

Custom logo runs for not too much money would be fun.
+11, something to have besides our INGO serial number lowers.

    Yup, We are :D

In the future I will be looking into lowers that have the INGO logo on them. Probably the logo you see here minus the "tactical" on the bottom.

If we can have these lowers produced locally by a board member all the better.
I would want mine to be exactly like that logo, with the tactical and all, that's a sweet ass hat!

INGO Yes, this would look good on a lower.:D
    Yes, Yes it would

Dude, I'll pay $150 just because the dude is local.
    Me too.

I'll take one as soon as I pay for my new tooth. But you can't hold me to any time constraints.

Welcome to INGO and Good Luck on your business adventure!
