I was thinking as I wait for my LTCH what do when the need for a "major transaction" happens and you have to use a public restroom? I don't like the idea of my firearm touching the floor and I certainly don't need someone:runaway: and the mall SWAT team disturding me, or someone trying to grab my firearm. I'll hang up and listen to your answer, thanks.

I do whatever is possible not to use public facilities.

If an emergency deposit is necessary, I'd simply remove it while remaining in holster from my belt and keep my Glock from being in view of the other depositors.
I'd most likely keep it in my hands, as I would hate to set it somewhere in the stall, only to see it fall on the ground.

Seeing a handgun drop to the ground is one way of signaling a trade in some places ;)

I'm with AFT-C, though - I usually use a paddle holster or IWB clipon, though, so the gun stays in the holster while it's in my hand..

Dependent on the type of facility I lay it on top of the TP dispenser. Now a lot of places use the round or angled top type dispenser! Doh....

    Hammock method.

When you drop your pants, place the gun (in holster if removable) in between legs in pants "cradle." Drop boxers to cover (if not commando or INGO thong.);)

    1. Carry using a shoulder rig

    2. Untie shoe lace (don't remove it from shoe) and tie to top of foot

    3. Lay it in the crotch of your pants once they're down.

    Where's the bacon?
You can also unfasten your pants enough to lower them, then fasten back together with the belt at your knees. That will hold the pistol on the belt, up out of sight, and keep your feet slightly apart for leverage. ;)

Just make sure you clean your pistol when you get home... if the odor is enough to peel the paint in the bathroom, it can do awful things to the finish on your firearm.

Don't ask me how I know.

    Blessings,
    Bill

it's pretty easy... keep your belt above the knee, spread legs... leave the gun in the holster where it belongs.

nice bonus, your pants don't get covered in whatever slime is on the floor.
