I use to rock a mustache but my wife made me shave it. She got tired of random woman offering me five cents for rides every time we were out in public.

LOL no permission I just get bored with things pretty quick. Is that a challenge?

I usually have random people coming up asking about my beard and most say that they can't grow one even though they want one. When I ask why, they always say something about they don't have the dedication. Some have said it is too hard to grow a beard. You just don't shave. If you want to keep it nice and trimmed, a quick once over when it needs it is all you need. If you want it sort of long but neat, let it go to the point of just becoming unruly and have it shaped and trimmed. If you want to go Grizzly Adams, through your razors away. There is no work involved. The best part about growing a beard is if you get bored of things easily, you can change it up. If you get bored of that, let it grow out and pick another look.

I've thought of growing a beard before, but after about a week it itches too much. Maybe I'll try this winter. I'm sure it would be useful to keep my face warm during my runs. Of course, I'll never have a beard as awesome as my avatar.

The itchy phase is over quickly, and bearded splendor takes its place.

I have no memory of said itching... might have been the near lethal quantites of alcohol in my system that week though...

Be patient... Day by day, and wash it a lot with shampoo!

I alternae between full beard in the winter and a van dyk in the summer. Looking at that chart, I'm thinkng of doing the klingon. I showed the wife... she wasn't impressed.
