Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, “What? You too? I thought I was the only one.”

Seeing what friendships can be born in here.

Let me see if I can keep this short, here goes...

I am a mother of identical twin girls born in 1992.
1993 I suffered a massive stroke, left me paralyzed on my left side
Began adaptive skiing a couple years after, recruited to the provincial downhill racing team.
    2000 had my millennium son
Recession hit and lost my job in 2008 after a 12 years with my company
Marriage started to die, finally left 2011 when we sold our house.
I workout 6-7 days a week to avoid the effects of aging.

Looking forward to my first Christmas in my new home

My sister's identical twin boys were born in 1992 as well!

Now did you know this strange little tid bit? If my identical twin girls, married and had children with identical twin boys, the kids would LEGALLY be cousins but BIOLOGICALLY siblings.

Indeed! I think my sister would have liked it if they'd met twins, but they've got non-related girlfriends.

Enlighten me... what happens in Kentucky????

haha I guess they don't hate KY north of the border...

Its an Indiana joke... everyone in Kentucky is related by more than one familial bond. Such as being siblings and cousins thanks to Daddy-Uncle JoeBob.

Just a joke, but a pretty common one.

    :whistle:lol,
by definition we have some KY employees too. When I joined this company just a little over a year ago, I was told that M's cousin K works in the production. But M kept referring to K as his brother-in-law... After several weeks I finally asked M, :scratch:so which is it your cousin or brother-law?

Both he says. K's sister is M's wife. Doh!

I'm married to my ex wifes cousins sister in law. And I can see Kentucky from my back yard.:):

Maybe I started this wrong.... My fiance and I live together with my daughter when she is home from College. My husband lives with my other two children.

My fiance's wife just had a baby with her live in boyfriend. They live 1500 miles away in their home with my fiance's and his wife's daughter.

I think the common link here is there is no "normal" nuclear family anymore. The Cleaver family is a thing of the past.

Things get confusing when no one is legally divorced. I am the only one here?:dunno:

I married into a Jerry Springer episode myself many years ago. My sister in law (who was actually my wife's niece) had her first two children by brothers (each of which went on the lam subsequently for other reasons) so they were brother and sister and first cousins simultaneously. I could go on and on. It was amusing for a while, but I'm glad not to be over there any more.

Well from your pic, you do look quite young. I do have a story for you. My great uncle Buck, (Clarence Buckley) was a marine in WWII. He was in the pacific and fought on Guadalcanal, among other places. When he got home, him and my aunt Jane tried to have a child and she had a stroke while giving birth. The baby didn't make it and it left her paralyzed on her left side. She got around good but I didn't know her when she was young. My uncle Buck took care of her until he died and an old age. She followed soon after but had a long and full life.
