L1 is running 7-9 weeks with no arrest history
It was running that for apps sent prior to Christmas. I have a sneaking suspicion the wait is about to mushroom. I think the explosion started after Christmas, with lots of new guns under the tree and in stockings. I think (and I could certainly be wrong) that barring any drastic change in personnel, the L1 wait is about to go to 16 weeks or longer.

What is frustrating is if you get arrested they know your entire life history including how many zits you had as a teenager in minutes. But it takes them weeks to do a background check for something we want.

We filled out the application on Jan 7, got printed at L1 on the 8th, and gave ISP our money on the 9th. Our LTCHs still aren't here, but I will post when we do get them for help on the comparison.

The 8264 tx# gave me a recording and prompt to dial 0 which lead to a disconnect.

The 5054 tx# gave me a real person who confirmed what others have said within the last 24 hours that they are currently processing L1 apps for Dec 28.

My wife and I had our online apps in a good week before our L1 printing which was done on Jan 7. So it should just be a couple of weeks.

Called again just a bit ago.

A lovely Ms. Kim B informed me that they haven't quite gotten to my application yet, and it would be another 3-4 weeks, even though my application was mailed on October 26th. She told me to call back and ask for her again if I don't see anything in another month.

I asked a while back but didnt get a response so I am asking again.

I had a public intoxication 35 years ago. It was a county charge and not state and I dont even know if they turned county misdemeanors to the state back then.
    Clean record since.

Does anyone have any idea how long this might slow my app down?

There has been several questions asked regarding misdemeanors and no one has gotten an answer yet on how long it will take (at least none that I seen). Don't feel bad. I just don't think anyone knows right now because of the amount of applications they are getting. Local news says indiana is recieving 4,000 apps per week right now.

I would count on around 45-60 days longer than those with clean records. There's no specific time frame but that's been my experience the past 2 times applying at the same time as my wife. My wife received hers at 3.5 months so I would count on at least 5 months, non L1.
