Just saw this and thought it was worth sharing. It will make you cringe, but it's not as bad as it looks. Sorry if a dup...did a search and didn't see that it had been posted before.

If you watch the slow motion part at the end over and over it appears as thought the flexing of the gun in the early stage of the round going off saved him. The gun flexes with the initial ignition and changes the point of aim farther from his forehead.

Videos been around a long time, and been fairly well classified as faked.
Gun flexing as DocHill suggest's is actually another gun poorly superimposed in the video.

This video is, in my opinion, fake. Watch it closely.

He racks a shell into the chamber. He fires. He racks again and you can see the empty fall by his leg. He fires. He racks again. You see another empty fall by his leg. He pulls the trigger and gets a "click." Then he racks again, which SHOULD HAVE EJECTED THE HANGFIRE. But you see no empty shell fall. Then another pull of the trigger and another click. Then he points it at his own face, etc.

What... he got TWO HANGFIRES IN A ROW, THE FIRST BEING A MYSTERIOUSLY INVISIBLE SHELL?

    I don't buy it.

But that's not to say it's not worth watching. Hangfires are a real thing, and all shooters need to be aware of them. Especially if they reload their own.

Why would you EVER look down the barrel of a gun? Its not like you can see anything anyway. I won't look down the barrel of any of my guns even if I know they have been unloaded and checked thoroughly.

    Jackass.
