I plan on hopefully taking the Abate course in crown point in June or July depending on choices. Never been on a bike before. Anybody have any tips for a noob?
If you have a wife and kids take out a good life insurance policy.
If this is sarcasm, then use purple. If not, then what are you saying? Do you have any experience with the ABATE course or just make a general "motorcyclist are organ donors" slam? Either way, it's inappropriate.
I don't know what his intentions were but it's good advice. Motorcycles are statistically much more dangerous than automobiles. Riders are something like 30 percent more likely to die in the event of an accident compared to their automobile counterparts. That is just the risk you recognize and accept because you enjoy it - same as anything else.
Getting good life insurance should have nothing to do with whether or not you ride, though. You should just have it anyway.
I just picked up a 2009 DL1000 with only 2945 miles. Great deal.
How'd you talk the wife into that, Mr. Crashy McCrasherson?
Congrats regardless!
Nice collection!
Just got back from a trip thru Montana to Oregon and California on my 09 BMW R1200RT. Took several pictures, here are a couple.
