I lived in Alabama for about 10 years and there was a little country store that would sell homemade biscuits. They sold all the flavors including Bacon Egg and Cheese, chicken, pork tenderloin, polish sausage and fried Bologna. They had a container with fresh sliced tomatoes to add if you like. Throw a tomato slice on the fried bologna biscuit and a little salt and pepper on the tomato and you got a fine samich. When ever I go visit I have to make a trip to Lester's Grocery for a biscuit.

Dam-it guys, I had a great dinner and it was delicious but now I am going to the store and get some bologna.......maybe some biscuits. Wife is looking at me like I am nuts. She may be right.

    Even better is fried spam.
    +1!

Oh yeah! Never had one with egg, though that sounds good. Typically it's a fried bologna/toasted cheese combo for me.

I just finished my favorite... Grilled cheese with bacon, on hearty rye bread. (Beefsteak rye) YUMMEH! Yeah, no baloney, but still an odd fried sammich.

Fried bologna sandwiches are good but my ultimate sandwich was from a little bar that used to be across 21st street from Naval Avionics. They had braunschweiger on German black bread with a slice of sweet onion, mayo, and horseradish. Now that was a beautiful thing!

Nothing better than than a fried bologna and cheese sammi with mustard. We have then 2-3 times a month, usually on a saturday morning! Wife and kids love them too.

    Right here.
Try the Boars Head Garlic bologna fried. Slap a couple slabs between two sliced of bread, a little Hellman's Mayo and a bowl of Campbell's Tomato soup (made with milk of course). That's pure nirvana for me...oh yeah, must slice from center out to keep flat.
