Just curious as to what all of your women carry.
My fiancé carrys a SIG p938. The reasons she likes it is because of the ease of slide, the safety, and the great SAO trigger.

My wife carries her Glock 30 90 percent of the time. The other 10 is her S&W 442 she shoots the Glock 30 very well. I think that is why she carries it more often.

M&P Shield in 9. This spring after some range time it will be a Performance Center 1911.

"Why shoot more than once" she says..

    Haha! Perfect quote.
I'm trying to get mine to shoot my 1911, but she's so scared of .45. I honestly have non idea why. Her tiny SIG recoils much more than a heavy 1911 does

Bucking the trend here... neither my wife or daughter are on-board yet with firearms, but both fully realize the need to be able to defend themselves. I got them both mini-stun guns at the recent 1500, and I'll tell you what... I think the sound of those things zapping and crackling when you press the button scares me more than the sound of a shotgun being racked! They also both have little SOG knives that conceal in a fake key on all their key chains.

I know it's the cliche, but right now a Smith 442. When some cash frees up this summer she wants to look at a few semi's, but she's got a decently practiced draw and is on-target with the 442...I can't stand to shoot the thing but she likes it.
