Thank you for volunteering! Be prepared to be rigidly flexible.:D

To my fellow INGOers, carry will not be prohibited. This is NOT Charlotte!

As a request, if you carry, please leave it in the holster(s). I saw Jimmy Joe and Cledus Lee "trying out" display holsters in Pittsburgh. Let's not do that in Indianapolis, please.

I really struggle with rigid flexiblity...but thankfully I'm full of flab so my rigidity is packed permanently in bubble wrap.

The convention center and Lucas oil are run by the Capitol improvement board so if they allow it at the convention center it is good to go at Lucas oil. The NRA rented both spaces and the renter calls the shots.

I will be there for 3 days, 2 nights. For those of us not familiar with downtown, could you give a heads up regarding which downtown establishments are anti's. Wouldnt want to throw any business the wrong way if possible.

None of them will be anti this weekend. Even if they normally are they won't turn away business. Money talks and this is big event coming to town.

I have never been to one. I'm an NRA member. My 15 yo son actually saw the flyer with the info, and he wants to go! So I'll be taking him up on Saturday.

Let's just say this isn't the Expo, so most, if not All businesses will welcome customers AND their TIPS, regardless of their personal, or corporate beliefs. Steak and Shake will not "close for maintenance" if you need a late night cheeseburger.

What? Impossible! After all, downtown will be overrun by 70,000 gun-toting maniacs!

Well everyone is used to it. After all Circle City Mall (center of Indy and is several buildings connected by walk ways) gets overrun by mobs of teenagers every weekend.

Then there are all sorts of festivals. The Indy 500 can bring thousands of drunk fans in. Indy Black Expo brings thousands of people downtown as does Circle City Classic (multi university football game).
