Take a Sharpie and write your cardiologist's phone number on our forearm. Take some duct tape and tape your health insurance card to your forehead. Grab a few napkins and enjoy.

Anyone been to Giordanos? I'm thinking of going this weekend, I've never tried it.

Been a while since I have been to Chicago but will often stop for a pizza if I have the time.

Another here that prefers NY style pizza over Chicago deep dish. (I grew up on the east coast.)

That doesn't mean Chicago style isn't good. It is. It's still pizza after all. I just wish the crust didn't taste more like pie crust than pizza crust.

I am not optimistic about our chances of reasoning with these savages.

I will admit that it is difficult for us to condescend to those who believe that pizza quality increases proportionately with weight per square inch of surface area.

Best pizza I ever had came out of a wood-fired brick oven here:

44th Street, NYC- thin and spectacular.

I'd rather be buggy whipped and have hot oil poured up my nostrils than go to Chicago or New York for any reason. Pizza doesn't even enter into the picture.

Sure have, and I turned around and walked out after they told me the wait was 3.5 hours! So we went to Ale Emporium instead. Much better pizza with no wait! Plus Hermanaki wings, nuff said!

Deep dish is more like a disgusting twist on lasagna than it is pizza. New York style is objectively better to any reasonable person.

Both, however, pale in comparison to the pizza you can get in Italy. If I had to eat one thing forever, that'd be my choice.

I think there are places in both of those cities where you can pay to have those things done to you.

I walked into that. I regret it!

    You are dead to me.
