Yes please do post some pics. I am really liking my XD9SC! The Cozy Partner IWB I have is ok but it really could be better.
I am really contemplating a tough decision right now. Rather to get rid of the G19 which I really don't have any need for it right now with the XD being the carry weapon of choice. Using the it to fund another purchase or just keeping it with some of the other weapons that I don't take out of the safe anymore. Limited buget here and I don't need anymore safe guns anymore especially ones that you can buy at just about any gun shop you walk into. If it was a hard to find weapon I could see the point.

NEOCON, based on your description, it sounds like you and I have close to the same build and type of dress. I'll post the pictures later today so you'll get an idea how the MTAC looks. One thing I've started doing is buying XL size t-shirts. I've discovered that they're not quite as baggy on me (once they've shrunk a bit) as they were when I was 18, and they go a long ways towards hiding any printing. They're a lot more comfortable, too.

XL size cotton t-shirt, washed several times, so it's shrunk a little. Standard cargo shorts (size 36, I normally wear size 34 when not carrying IWB). Denim jeans and denim shorts seem to behave similarly. 1.25" leather gunbelt. Minotaur MTAC holster with c-clips. XD9SC carried with 10rd mag, just slightly aft of the hip bone.

    Twisting hard to the left

Bending over hard (reaching for something on the floor, or similar to sitting at a table in a restaurant). There is a bulge, but it's mostly the shirt blousing. Slight printing still evident. Note lack of ass requiring overly-tight belt to prevent embarrassing pants anomaly.

Shirt lifted so you can see the gun in its natural environment. Also, that is not my actual skin color. It is, in fact, a tank-top style undershirt. I don't always require it, but it helps create a buffer so the gun butt doesn't gouge as bad.

Just a size comparison between an XD9SC and a G26, both with 10rd mags.

Thanks for the pics. It looks like it conceals nicely.
I'm going to try and pick up a better belt later this week to see if that will help the constant shifting of my current setup. If that doesn't work I may be ordering a new holster.

I absolutely love my Ruger LCP.

A question was raised on this tread about "issues" in the first year of production. The only issue was the recall that involved the possible discharge of a dropped LCP due to the design of the hammer mechanism... I can only say that its cool when a company voluntarily, and at great expense to themselves performs a recall to fix a potential safety issue. Actually, Kel-Tec has modified their P3AT to address this same issue. The difference is that Ruger is recalling all of the guns because they consider it a safety issue, while Kel-Tec simply made a running change and isn’t offering to fix any of the guns already on the street. WAY TO GO RUGER!

Any LCP you buy today from a dealer will be fixed or post-recall manufactured.

    Range report:

I love this little LCP. I really thought before I bought it that it would be a belly-gun. Boy was I wrong! A friend of mine and I shoot Tick-Tack-Toe targets printed on 8x11 paper from 7-yards & 15-yards with our LCP's. And do quite well hitting the 2.75" squares at will. (BTW... This is a fun activity at the range.)

After the initial ramp polishing, which I do on all my semi-autos, the LCP eats anything I feed it.

    My little bundle of joy:

First of all - super old thread, my bet is that NEOCON already bought a new weapon, but if not

    1) IMO there's no reason to own a .380 (unless it's just for fun)

    2) Stay away from Ruger LCPs/Keltec P3ATs - again IMO they are junk

Glock 26 all the way :yesway:

I don't like gLocks and I'd sooner buy a keltec than a LCP so i can't help you there.

On a different note, with summer coming, my wife just got a new carry gun:

She may be taking the motto "bring enough gun" a little too seriously.

In any event, I find it comical the OP is looking to summer as a time to go smaller and my wife is looking to go bigger :lmfao:

I did in fact buy a XD9sc and carried it everyday in a Tennesee holster company IWB. Then I bought a kholsters Supertuck knock off and it was much better. I am now carrying a XDM9 in the same Kholster.

I was thinking about the Ruger LCP too, but i wonder since it's so light is the recoil ok. I just don't know how pleasant it is to shoot.

woodie, the LCP is not a target gun by any stretch of the imagination but it isn't the most unpleasant gun I have ever fired. That title would go to the 410/45LC derringer a friend brought with him to the range the other day. I will say the LCP has a long trigger pull and seemingly useless sights but after some practice and well, lots of practice I have complete confidence in it. I have shot several brands and types of ammunition and have not had a single "failure to anything". It is a little snappy at first but not something you can not get used to. I put it in my pocket every morning and forget about it. I hope I never need it but if I do I feel sure it will do what I bought it for.
