    I carry and LC9s and it is a great gun. Accurate and reliable. I also alternate carrying a Glock 43 and a Glock 26, but the LC9s is always in my pocket.

    Shield 9 is what I suggest to try first.. Shoot a Shield, LC9s and 43 before making a decision..

    Of all those recommended, I only consider the Ruger and Kahr CM9 to be real subcompacts. I like the Kahr because it emulates the best custom double-action revolver trigger pull. If you want a bigger gun with a Glock type trigger, go with the Shield, Glock, etc.
