9mm sub compact

I carry a Ruger LC9s....great gun. A buddy is looking for the same type of gun....what do you folks think?

I carry and LC9s and it is a great gun. Accurate and reliable. I also alternate carrying a Glock 43 and a Glock 26, but the LC9s is always in my pocket.

Shield 9 is what I suggest to try first.. Shoot a Shield, LC9s and 43 before making a decision..

So what is your favorite subcompact 9mm and why?

I haven't had the chance to get a subcompact yet. Leaning to the shield though. Fits comfortable in my hand and has 8+1 capacity.

Of all those recommended, I only consider the Ruger and Kahr CM9 to be real subcompacts. I like the Kahr because it emulates the best custom double-action revolver trigger pull. If you want a bigger gun with a Glock type trigger, go with the Shield, Glock, etc.
