I will make a stronger case. Trump is using correct English applying a plural pronoun to a multiple of countries. You, sir, are attempting to apply a plural pronoun to a singular country which leaves me to question if your post concerning this matter is neutral or agenda driven?

I should have been a defense attorney!

    Or a prosecutor.

    Or a grammarian. :)

But you'd still be wrong. What "they" references should be clear from context. The only identifiable entity prior to "they" is Scotland. Arrived in Scotland... Place going wild... they took country back.

The third identifier - pronoun "they" - can only be referencing Scotland in the context of that tweet, if we want to go full grammar nazi. Now where did I leave my golf ball... :D

The golf ball is kinda stupid. I mean, I'm not a trump fan, but damn, not everyone I don't like has to be a nazi. Can he come up with something more original? Maybe paint them to look like testicles and use string to hang them from a club handle so that...well you get the idea.

Since this is supposedly a major discussion topic at Bilderberg this year-- and those elites are doing EVERYTHING they can do prevent BREXIT, it seems to me that the exit of the UK from the EU might be the best thing to happen to the cause of liberty and freedom in a a loooooong time.

We have moved it down the agenda. We decided to move THE DONALD up and make sure he wins.

I watched Rachel Madcow last night and you would have thought 100,000 people died yesterday and the stock market collapsed. Heard on the radio yesterday that BREXIT will have a disastrous effect on Illinois and Chicago because of the money lost in their pensions due to the declining stock market. :faint:

Bah, I would really want to see the numbers on that one, sounds like a smoke screen for something else. Bad stock investment story to cover for some other fiscal malfeasance.

I don't see how people panic this easily, I really don't.

Cameron is stepping down - IN THREE (3) MONTHES!!! That is plenty of time for his slow transition. Good for him, good for Great Britain, Good for a mellow transition.

Great Britain will leave the EU - IN THREE (3) YEARS!!! That is a good amount of time to work out all of the details. Considering the fact that Switzerland and Norway are also not in the EU there are at least two (2) blueprints that can be followed to facilitate a smooth and easy exit.

We are a world of wimps.

    Regards,

    Doug

I'm reading on twitter the Remains are already pushing a petition to have the Parliament vote for a do-over. Yes, a second referendum. How typical. Keep voting until we get the "correct" answer, then freeze things in place.

Funny to watch the people online that belong to the first group whine the loudest. If you didn't like it, why'd you stay home?

The EU wants them gone NOW. No way they let them have three years to get their house in order... why would they? In that regard, I think the EU has the right of it. Why let the UK dictate terms of how they effect the rest of Europe. Get it over as soon as possible, so respective European economies can recover.
