good afternoon all. I know you guys are probably tired of fielding questions from the newly converted CZ crowd, BUT. I am having a depressing issue with some wood grips that just showed up from CZC. I was all giddy to put them on as soon as I got home last night, only to find I can not insert a magazine with them on. Is this normal? Should I try to find the high spots and sand or send them back?

Make sure the screws are no interfering.

Well heck. Finally called Sig about my sight going dark on my Legion and asked about the 20% discount code I was supposed to get when i registered that I never got. Found out they don't send them out any more, but they have a SHOT show special going on, so I ended up getting an Action Enhancement Package setup for my Sig TacOps :D

We'll, since I snoozed on the 97B yesterday and the only other one on Gunbroker is a New York compliant model, I've decided to order a Sar K2 45. All the reviews I've seen are positive. Any thoughts?

That's good to hear Tom. Sucks that it failed but at least shipping the slide only should not be too painful.

They're letting me ship the slide with the TacOps, so it will go and come back 2nd day air. That gets them out of paying for the shipping, but since I was planning to have the work done to the TacOps anyway, it's fine by me. The TacOps is my favorite 1911 (shush CM), but I've always disliked the heavy 6lb trigger. The AEP should take care of that and then some ;)

I have one and it's a great gun. It can be a bit heavy with 14+1 rounds of 230g ammo on board, but they are great shooters.

This man has my old one. I miss that gun and would buy another. Softest shooting 45 I've ever found. Really easy to shoot fast, so be mindful of your 45 stash. It won't last long. Hang a light on it and I swear you could drive railroad spikes.

Thanks. I guess I'll see if I like it before ordering more mags since they only come with one. I was going to get an extra one when I ordered the pistol but they wanted another $10 on top of the $20 shipping for the pistol.

I believe I ordered extra mags from CDNN. They were like $25 a piece. Not bad at all. That was the first gun that I ordered the mags before I actually ordered the gun..... I now don't remember why I sold it. :dunno:

Lookie here! Oh man. This might be the perfect all around handgun. Can't wait to shoot it. Trigger actually ain't bad, one of the better factory CZ triggers I've felt. Surefire fits right at home. Will fit HD duty perfectly. Really pleased so far, I'm sure I'll break it in no time.....
