I posted a picture of him signing the EO, the Churchill was there.

It's not worth a lot of "approval points"... but I'm sure some here will find any excuse to inflate their love of him.

If you look up 'Oval Office' on Wikipedia, it lists some of the decorations and artwork Presidents have used during their terms. The only thing they have listed for Trump at the moment is the Resolute Desk and the Churchill bust.

He just got there.

I don't know about how others decide. I'm not putting any limits on how how many he can win or lose in 4 years.

And it doesn't matter if anything is a sign of good things to come. Those good things will get scored when they happen and not before. Nothing gets extra points just because it makes me feel good.

I don't think I've been negative since he's won. He hasn't done anything really worth criticizing at the moment.

My "burr" is probably more with the people that have a "burr" with me and every post I make. But there are built-in fixes for that.

(Though I'd prefer 2017 to start fresh, with an "everyone stop being a dick to everyone else" new beginning. Not sure everyone would agree on that.)

This has been an intense 6 months watching all this unfold. Anxiety's have been high. Emotions seem to be guiding a lot of folks political leanings. It is pretty scary to watch. The divisions that have been widened by the out going POTUS and his crew have come to a boil. "O" has left a series of land mines for Trump to navigate. This was done with intent.

Watching (and scoring) this next 4 years will take a few new threads. For this reason I am going to call this on #1 and the series will continue from there.

As to folks being a Dick............not gonna happen. Dicks will be smacked. I think that came out right.

Okay. About consistency.

I don't think it's being inconsistent. But if everything is a top score, how do you differentiate between more and less important things? How does putting the Bust of Churchill back compare with sighning the repeal of Obamacare? As much as I respect the sentiment and symbolism that restoring its place represents, they're not equal in magnitude. Repealing the NFA would be a +10 for me. Nominating a solid SCOTUS choice would be a +10. Failing to divest from his companies is a -2 per week until he does what he said he'd do. Nominating his sister, unlikely as it is, would be a -10.

So a delay of only five weeks in untangling a complicated interlocking web of corporations and investments that bear your name (and likely still would after divestment) and which is a process which is required by no law:

I will give Trump 1 pt for every time the Liberals lose their minds and I see it on tv, this will tell me if Trump is doing GOOD. After his speech CBS was calling it a "isolation speech….."…..a speech that Hitler would make……"…….riots, protests, and now crazy woman marching….Yup Trump is up about 100 bonus points already…I'll add 10 more for the Churchill bust being brought in as I also remember barry tossing it.

'Cause if you set yourself up to be a lightning rod (as in appoint yourself as an arbiter of all things Trump by self-acclaim rather than polling the membership) then the lightning is going to find you
