The problem with "real communism" is that it's a wet dream that this is the way humans work in the world. There HAS to be a powerful heirarchy to overcome real human nature, and the power that must be wielded to overcome human nature naturally draws corrupt people thirsty for power. This is why it fails EVERY time. It's a nice thing to dream about; a Utopia where everyone is equally good and equally cared for and equally free. But humans can't live in that world. Maybe in a billion more years if humans evolve to be something else. But not now. And not in an imaginably realistic future.

I agree regarding the clip. I've not seen anything more than I'd already found as general calls to action on the 4th.

Regarding major news networks, reporting on such a story that might result in stopping violence isn't going to get ratings. People killing each other by the droves in the streets will, and they'll be there in spades to film it all as it takes place. The bigger the riot and the more violent it becomes, the better. Cable news covered the Rodney King riots 24/7 for nearly a week. Current TV news axiom: If it bleeds, it leads.
