    Where does he get those wonderful toys?

    Well one this is for sure, my wife doesn't know how many I have :rockwoot:

    But in the case of that one, the gun was a one-off customized gun that was modified at the factory for a customer, then sent off by the customer for MagNaPorting. The grips are something I commissioned from Joe Perkins of Outlaw Grips, he makes the finest custom grips of anyone I know, made the HAND OF GOD grips for the movie 3:10 to Yuma, and the grips for Russel Crow's personal gun which feature a modified HAND OF GOD design. Took him almost 6 months to make that set of grips for me. Only set like them in the world, the sterling silver emblems inset into the giraffe bone grips were cast in the lost wax method, only 2 exist (one on each side of the pistol) and are a special design known to only a small group. The grips on that gun cost more than many guns I see in the classified sections here on INGO . . . and they are worth every penny I paid for them :yesway:

    Just got a 1911 3 weeks ago

    Well I had to drink the 1911 cool-aid... so here is my start.
    Now that I have this one I'm already thinking about the next one.

    I Got rid of the ambi safety amd the FLGR but other then that it still looks the same, looking forward to getting some monkeygrips after the new year!
