I have been lucky, sleeping the sleep of the dead the last few nights

Not for me.

It was slow for me for just over a few minutes.

The electric fence is going up, next season should see a much happier gardener.

We had 7 strands of electric fence around about 20 acres of orchard. The deer went between the strands and ignored it. They could also clear the top wire with no problem at all. The worst part of maintaining it was needing to weed whack along the bottom wires so it would work properly. I have a lot of fencing and posts out there that no longer serve any real purpose.

I don't know what sleep is anymore. I can't seem to get a good night's sleep anymore. I'm either burning up or freezing or staring at the ceiling watching the stars through the skylight.
