I saw this earlier. Heavy.com doesn't have five fast facts up yet, that tells me there may not be 5 facts about this one. Thankfully his OPSEC sucked canal water and the Feds got their hands on him first. The plan to attack Fisherman's wharf Pier 39 is terrifying on many levels. Nowhere to go and nobody armed in SF except the bad guy are my top 2.

The article I saw said something to the effect he believed all the kafur deserved to die, Donald Trump is Satan because of the Jerusalem embassy thing, etc. (not a direct quote but along those disturbed, rhetorical lines).

Just saw on 59 that he was a marine. They said something about him losing his kids a year ago as well.
One of the stories I saw said he completed Marine Boot Camp (2009, would've been 18 and straight out of high school) but was discharged for not disclosing he had asthma. If he had less than 6 months in it's not a discharge and the individual is not a veteran.
Sounds like he has experienced failure and loss.
