Spending time with BA and the Wizard would do a lot for keeping me focused on fixing up what I have.
I need to get up that way one of these evenings before winter sets in. I should probably stop buying guns I don’t need and focus on making the ones I have better.
Best way to answer that question is to try a few "worked on" examples and determine for yourself. My experience was that I thought my first CZ (SP-01) had a decent trigger - the creep was too much but, still, a nice factory trigger and a great shooting gun.
After the Wizard worked his magic not only did I think the gun was AWESOME, I jumped into the CZ pool and bought, umm, a couple more CZ's with vary degrees of stock, CGW, CZ custom and Wizard work.
The Wizard guns are just the best.
1. Someday. In a weak moment: someday.
2. But, if I understand correctly, I should not Wizardize my Shadow 2, but do it to my Rami, unless I want to get another 75 and have it "treated."
3. If the Rami proves itself to be flawless, and I trust it, it would be OK to upgrade it, or get a 75.
4. I have heard you don't get as big a bang for the buck if you upgrade the Shadow 2?
5. Let the wisdom and experience ring!
I checked the build date on the new P07 while logging it into the system last night and saw that it’s a May 2014 build. No wonder CZ is dropping the .40s if they still have stock that old in the warehouses.
The test target looks tight though and I can’t wait to shoot the thing.
I love seeing the family photos. I would take more, but I don't have a good camera and they never turn out very good.
And I hear you about the wife thing. I made the mistake of cleaning everything once while we were watching some movie. I would clean one, take it back and bring another one out. My wife finally said "exactly how many of those do you have?" I told her I was on my last one. I was not.
As many of you know my spouse gets a bonus bucks stipend with every firearms transaction. Sell one...bucks to her. Trade one.....bucks to her......fix on for somebody......yup, you bet.....bucks to her.
She also knows that if things go south financially I will open the safe's and sell the contents. I get no grief from her.
