Curious to know if any of these form 4's are the barcoded ones.

My last 3 approvals have been. But it's not helping. 18 months ago SS stated this barcode system would help a lot with processing times. Here we are now with not only the barcode system having it's full effect, but also ATF having at least 50 new employees since January and we're still sitting on 7 month approval times at best. What a sham and a waste of our taxpayer money

I have to believe a large number of those new investigators/hires were put to work on efile. They are actively working the bugs out, I've had multiple conference calls and email strings with them as my submissions seemed to collect all the bugs into one nice little package...fml lol but if the form 1 efile is a sign of things to come, it should be getting better. The investigator is actual pretty nice to talk to and the developer was honestly interested in hearing even the small bugs I experienced with the process.

An update along with a bump.

Got my email today saying it was approved. Nov 9 to Nov 20, that's 11 days. Can't believe it. The email had the attached PDF with the stamp in the corner. I even screwed up the fingerprints. For some stupid reason I only sent one card, it went out just as the post office was closing on Friday, Monday was a holiday. I caught what I did later Friday night. Tuesday afternoon I went back into the sheriff's office told them what I did and got 2 more cards. Mailed them out with another copy of the cover letter and a note saying I screwed up but here are the new cards.

I figured it would take until after Thanksgiving since the word has probably gotten out efile was back. I don't even have the stock I want right now, was going to order it this weekend. Still need to get it engraved. Is there anywhere that does engraving by appointment so I don't have to leave it?

    11.....freaking.....days!!!!!!
