Okay, this is a new one for me... I just saw a commercial for port-a-potty rental for your tailgate party.
I admit I'm guilty of that though. And when you think about the extra taxes we have to pay to get/keep them here, I feel like we all should have a share in the ownership, so in essence, it IS "our team". So I don't mind the local flavor.I hate watching these local broadcasts and listening to the color guy saying "we" and "us" every third word. "We need to get a better pass rush. Our o-line should be good this year."
You're not on the team dude.
Seems pretty practical to me. Better than running across a huge parking lot, across the street and trying to find a public restroom every 15 minutes.

I sort of understand if it's a former player. I'm just glad we don't have to hear it from Bob Lamey on the radio calls anymore.
Great example on the strip pick just now. Dude says "if we contact him he's down. We just needed to touch him."
Who is "we"? The color guy isn't down on the field.
The player he's referring to has a name. Use it. It's just lazy to say "we" in an instance when he's talking about a specific person.
