Where ever my GPS says I am
The big oof was when he laid my first Harley down but I won't mention that.. :+1:

At least I owned up to it and took it right to the HD dealer to get it checked out and offered to pay for the damage. To be fair, I only had a few hours on a bike on the road.

So when are you going to lend him this one?

I get my dads bike now, that incident was about ten years ago when I first got my license. I have hundreds of miles since then without putting one down (I did put my own bike down a few years ago and busted the turn signal while turning around too slow).

Just ordered some lucky dave's Lucky 13 bars for my fxdls. Super stoked to not kill my back and be able to sit up on it :)
    No more drag bars :D

Are you replacing the risers also? If so what size risers and width drag bars? Do the drag bars have the Harley dents for the wiring on each side?

    See where i'm heading????

That's why I limit myself to a single beer if I'm on the bike, if at all.
I had a single beer with a good lunch one day while out riding. This happened years ago. I was about 60 miles from home. I drink bourbon, so I figured 1 beer wouldn't make a difference. I had it at the beginning of the lunch, finished it midway through. Drank water the rest of the meal. Rode home. Nothing eventful happened on the ride home but I could tell that I was not as sharp as I should be.

Never had a beer, or other traditional adult beverage, while out riding ever since. I save the booze for relaxing time after the ride. Might well be why I never participate in those group rides, poker runs, etc. They seem to go from bar to bar or terminate at a bar/event where the beer/booze is free flowing.

As with all my gear and other choices, these are my choices, I don't push my views on others, I don't care to change any laws or add restrictions, but I will state my opinions.
