This morning I'm enjoying LA Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor Reserva. Great so far. Far less peppery than I have seen reviewers say about it. Darck chocolate and earth notes right at light up. Very smooth, great draw and smoke output. Name is fitting because the aroma off this stick is great! Early on construction looks good. Burn not bad but not prefect either. Profiles refer to it as full bodied, I would say medium-full with medium strength. Pairing up with a nice bold cup of black coffee.

I've seen these pop up on cigarbid. Just based on the pretty ring I wanted to get some but knew nothing about them.

Do you mind sharing what you paid for the stick and if you think it was worth the cost?

I just finished smoking the entire stick let me see if I can dig the cellophane wrapper out of the trash to see exactly what I paid for it. It was over $10 as I bought it from a brick-and-mortar but I know online you can get it cheaper. It was definitely worth it I plan on buying a box of these. Outside of the Rocky Patel sun-grown Maduro this is definitely the best stick I have had in the last few months. And honestly I need to revisit the RP sun-grown versus this because this may be my top spot right now.

Just set up my temporary cigar hut. Blocks the wind very well and with a space heater it's quite comfortable. We will see how it holds up to the wind. I have it anchored down very well but time will tell if the structure itself will hold up. It does have two built in air vents and two windows that came be opened to help ventilate of needed.

    Fancy smancy!

I'm a poor man. I bought a Mr Heater 2 burner that mounts on top of a propane tank. I fire it up and sit out on the deck with it.... it does work!

Awesome... Hope you get it. I think I only have two more La Aroma de Cubas in current production I haven't tried yet, but they are sitting in my humidor. I haven't been disappointed with any of them but this last one was my definte favorite so far. I looked in the trash and I paid 10.99 before tax for it.

Yeah good thing is it didn't really cost much, cheap heater and $149 for tent. It's held up great so far. I did almost just get a propane heater for the deck as well but the only issue is behind my house there is no sort of Windbreak whatsoever and it gets crazy windy back there.

I've had a few Mi Amors aging for about 4 years now. I plan on smoking them soon. I like to let my cigars age for a while.
I know nothing about aging but I have a cigar in my humidor that my mom bought in 1999.

My mom bought a few cigars to celebrate the new year. One didn't get smoked and eventually babe gave it to me when I started smoking cigars.

It's in its own little cedar box wrapped in plastic. I'm sure if I were to open it it would be saw dust but it's cool to have a "millennium" cigar.

If it's been in your humidor this whole time it should likely be fine.

It spent years in a drawer then it moved into my humidor several years ago.

I also have a few cigars ive had for 5 or so years hanging out.
Ouch. Several years in a drawer is not good. It probably dried out. But, since it's been rehydrated in a humidor, it may not be as good as it once was, but it should still be smokeable.

We'll guns and ammo are unavailable so might as well spend it on something else that goes up in smoke.

I got off work early so time to enjoy a cigar. Today is a La Aroma De Cuba Edicion Especial. Come out to my cigar hut and it's about 36 degrees outside but the sun has warmed the hut up to about 65 to 70 degrees on the inside with both ventilation holes open and no heater on! It's a beautiful day!
