My ammo just arrived via FedEx. It was supposed to be "Signature Required". I wouldn't have known it was delivered except for the text I got. DoggyMama was inside and they never even knocked. Looks like they're using Covid as an excuse to rip off their customers. On the FedEx site, you can ask for proof of who signed for it, and all I got was this:

When I got my new cell phone it was the same. I was supposed to have to sign for it. My daughter's also...both were just left on the sidewalk by the door when they were delivered. Two different delivery dates.

Normally I wouldn't care, and in fact I usually prefer it when it's not "signature required" unless it's a gun, but I know they charge shippers extra for it, and I'm sure that cost is passed on to the person receiving the package. Total BS IMHO.

Recently retired, got bored. So I took a part time job with Fed -x. My very FIRST drop was a grumpy old man whose memory has hit the fan. His frkken ammo order wasn't right. Dude, did you get your freaking ammo? He probably paid a premium just to get it. I quit!

I actually went online and tried to see if I could approve them to deliver without the signature for my phone, but couldn't find a way to note it on the order. If I lived in town and there was more of a risk of a neighbor seeing the package and stealing it, I would be mad that it was just left. I'm not sure who would have to replace it if it were reported missing but it seems Fed Ex would be on the hook for it.
