And I really want to know why?
I have yet to see an inanimate object that is deadly.
And I really want to know why?
Automatic or fully automatic, same thing different name (unless fully automatic includes auto target and fire option).
You forgot the shoulder thing that goes up!Gotta be the fully automatic ar16 with a barrel shroud and pistol grip that let's you shoot from the hip. Super deadly!!!
Automatic for sure! And I really want to know why?
Fully Automatic because it is much more automatic than automatic which fully makes it automatically more deadly automatically.
That is some solid logic.Automatic for sure!
In an industrial setting, automatic means something happens without manual intervention, so I would say an automatic weapon is more deadly than a fully automatic firearm. Think of the automatic Phalanx CIWS weapon on a ship! If you had an automatic weapon at home it would just shoot an intruder before you even got out of bed to investigate!

Colored Black makes it even "more deadly"...don'cha know.... ;')
I didn't really expect to learn something in this thread but there you have it.Fun historical note: "Automatic" originally just referred to self loading, more literally self-readying from an internal ammunition source. The "A" in .45 ACP stands for "Automatic", as in Automatic Colt Pistol. This was to differentiate from repeating. "Repeating" meant it could be manually readied to fire again from an internal store (as in cocking a lever action cocks the hammer and presents a new cartridge until they are expended). "Semi-automatic" didn't enter the common lexicon for decades afterward, so calling a self loading pistol or rifle "automatic" isn't actually wrong as much as it's archaic.
Didn't read through the comments, they are equally as deadly, it's in the hands of the operator that makes it more deadly or not.
Boy I don't know what got up your crawl, but if you're going to chastise me, do so to some of the others that replied to the same extent. or at least put it in purple. If you had taken the time to read even a few comments you would have saved time posting in a thread that is for fun not serious.
I mean that is interesting but you also kind of Denny'd us thereFun historical note: "Automatic" originally just referred to self loading, more literally self-readying from an internal ammunition source.
