Be careful. I used some indelicate terms for my "gentlemans sausage" and it's "accoutrements" in a thread, and it was edited by a certain moderator. I'm not saying he was wrong for doing so, but apparently some terms here may pass filters, but are still unwelcome.

Again, no animosity about it. We live and learn. And the mods seem to be patient as we learn. :D

Thanks. I chose my words carefully. (I too have been smacked on the wrist for stepping over the line) Though the comment about stone one is my biggest worry. :):

Someone did a small boo boo and received a warning in the classifieds. Seriously. Here is a few parts of their response to said warning. (Edited to remove some details)

****Somehow I feel like I just went from a Indians gun owners forum to a kali Zuckerberg site. I am looking for a relatively expensive not in every gun shop thought maybe there might be one for sale here because it used to be a very viable place to locate firearms along with class 3 nfa items. I was totally ignorant of the fact that I needed to read the rule book before asking another member if a posted item was still for sale. I guess I’m going to Facebook jail now because I’m going to suggest scolding the poster for not removing the old post or that moderators spend they’re excessive free time at midnight removing old classified adds over scolding members that recently came back to the site but now wish they hadn’t.*****

    and

****I’m way past this and have better things to do, like go to bed. Maybe tomorrow I can offend another customer that’s 120 days past due by putting them on COD which implied they can’t pay their bills and offended them, and then maybe if I’m lucky I can get bitch slapped by the moderator of a gun forum for accidentally bumping a old classified listing. Butt hurt feelings everywhere. Yeah, I know, I broke rule #7. How did this country get where it is ???? Don’t bother replying because I won’t waste my time reading it******

I don't understand people. You're on a site, the site has rules. You break the rules and someone will remind you of the rules and/or you get a little time off from breaking the rules. Nothing to get butthurt over.

I, for one, am extremely pleased this site is well moderated and hasn't devolved into the mess or ghost town that a lot of gun forums have. Keep up the good work... :yesway:

I love INGO & it is a significant enjoyable part of life.

I know another Indiana gun site that is just for selling guns & paraphernalia.
If you make any mistake posting,
    you are simply gone,
    you never existed,
    you no longer have access.
    They only have 1-2 rules
    but
there is no quarter given for mistakes.

I know of another Indiana gun site just for selling guns that is very basic in its format.
It could use a few moderators to keep the peace, ha ha!

INGO is a bit of heaven on earth when you consider all the different egos that have to be managed.

Grew up with 1000 chances and a gentle coddling before even getting a slap on the wrist and used to failbook's vomit of thoughts that's nigh un-moderateable.

This quote is always in the back of my mind when posting in some of the more lively threads.

And then there are times when interactions with the mods seem like conversations with my wife.

Does she know how many guns you have?
Does she know what you really paid for them? :faint:
    Yes on both.
We do not lie about these things.
I tell her whats up and she knows. I also give her a cut when I buy/sell/fix anything that is a hobby/passion. Gives her skin in the game. Even my custom builds she is aware of the expenses involved.
She also knows that if things go sideways I will sell them off as needed. We are doing that right now due to my medical issues.

I haven't read a recent report, I hope you are doing better.

It is nice to see you here more often.

Continued prayer for you and yours.

Now how is that for a nasty note to admin. Sheesh kids!
