Let’s be honest. Bump stocks were mostly a toy with a limited number in circulation.

Rifle caliber pistols need only two words in defense of their use. “Common use”
That’s what people say about the pistol braces. Of course people that don’t like them…. All fun and games until they come for your “toy”

According to "progressives" and centralizers, every firearm is a range toy except MAYBE a single shot muzzle loading firearm.

Make no mistake about it, the ultimate goal of centralizers is a disarmed population. The goal of the atf is to advance that goal however it can.

To them, anything else is but a matter of inches, yards, miles, and timing.

They bear ZERO resemblance to those that seceeded from Britain or those that defend Liberty.

I would share my full opinion of such mother *******, **** sucking, ***holes spawned in Hell, but choose to abide by house rules.

How did we get to the point were Congress was authorized to regulate interstate commerce to remove and prevent “burdens” to the point where they are banning commerce under the same justification. After all even the ATF’s proposed unconstitutional “rule change” admits that this will have a negative economic impact.

After all if we get right down to it the justification for the NFA and fed gun laws is the power to regulate interstate commerce. The NFA is tax law after all.

How? The States and the SCOTUS let them.

The power to tax is the power to destroy...and that is what the central state does best

First they were legal to have no problem after which millions of AR/AK pistols and individual braces and legal components to build were manufactured and purchased. Then maybe they weren't legal. Then they are and it was ok for pistol braces to touch the shoulder, so more were manufactured and purchased. Then it was not ok. Now the AFT comes up with an arbitrary outlandish subjective criterion point system after the fact out of whole cloth that is impossible to comply with.

On top of that you have willfully ignorant ass Democrat congress critters spreading false information in a televised congressional committee hearing that a pistol brace coupled with a buffer tube is a bump stock that turns an AR/AK pistol into an automatic weapon.

And we're just supposed to let this **** slide?

I see no slow down in people building/buying AR pistols when we full well KNOW they're about to become felonies to own in any capacity that they're actually usable.

I've avoided them for the last year because I assumed everyone would cave like we (be honest) always do and just take it up the rear.

But I don't see that happening. So many friends and people on here going to town on their new pistol builds when in less than a month 4999 is coming and I can't figure it out.

Do people just not know? Not care because nobody has gotten arrested yet?

Everyone wants to be a keyboard revolutionary and say things like "shall not be infringed" but we're so far past that and I doubt these guys are converting their ARs to all have fun switches because it's legal in their own mind - because it should be.

I'm not going to ask anyone to incriminate themselves by asking what YOU are going to do with yours but what do you think the majority will do when the ruling comes?

For me, it's obvious that this isn't the hill to die on. I'm not losing my rights and going to prison over a few inches of barrel length.

For every "come and take them" I hear I imagine only 1% of are serious about their willingness to go to prison over this line in the sand.

If you're talking about H.R.1808, from my quick read-through, it looks like everything is grandfathered, so if you already own it, you're good to keep it. I'll admit that my blood pressure keeps me from reading all of it in one reading.

No, this is about pistol braces and the form 4999 worksheet.

This redefinition of the terms is a result of the Biden administration weaponizing the DOJ and ATF (with anti-gun stalwarts leading both organizations.) The best approach is to be active politically and work to boot all these jokers out of office. These rule changes can be "changed back" if there is political willpower.

So the question is "what have you done today to support getting Republicans back in control of Congress?" and "what have you done today to help a potential 2024 DeSantis, Trump, Cruz, Haley, Pence, etc... candidacy?"

I certainly don't want to know if people here will break the law or not. It's none of my business. But it would be much better if they didn't have to...

If a Republican ever gets back in the WH with a GOP Congress, please gut the federal administrative apparatus. Amazed Trump didn’t try this when he first got in.
I don't have the confidence a gop; wh, congress, Supreme Court all together could.. rather would roll back gun control.

    Nah. They don’t want to.
    Lip service only.
What? and get rid of an important fundraising opportunity? If they actually do all the things, what platform do they have to ask us for money for reelection campaigns?

Look at Dudley at NAGR. He fundraises like hell, then in the middle of a bill's debate process, does things to torpedo the bill. In Colorado the magazine ban progress was going great. Then he Leroy Jenkins and suddeny the bill passes. "Aw shucks, I guess y'all will have to give us more money to fight this to get it repealed!" He did the same thing here with one of our bills.

I dont even want to call it the swamp anymore because thats offensive to swamp creatures. At least those things have a functional purpose in the ecosystem and a positive benefit.

What have previous Republican administrations done to roll back the out of control bureaucracies or eliminate the departments which exist only to infringe people's rights?
