"If 5G is not halted," researcher Mona Nilsson predicts, "we will probably see more people suffering from microwave syndrome, i.e. deprived sleep, headache, tinnitus, dizziness, fatigue, heart problems, as well as a range of chronic diseases among them, including more cancers and degenerative diseases."

Folks are getting most all that already by spending too much time on their butts with their noses stuck in their phones, over eating, and not exercising.

Well. Safer than lower frequency 3G and 4G.
"It is very clear that 3 and 4G RF cause the microwave syndrome in susceptible individuals," said Carpenter, a Harvard-educated public health physician who has dedicated many years of his career to researching microwave syndrome.

Although "5G, at higher frequency, may in fact not be as bad as 4G because the signals may not penetrate the body as efficiently, there is no excuse for expanding the technology without clear evidence...
My conclusion from the article is that no wireless technology is safe for "susceptible individuals ". I guess that would extend to Wi-Fi, especially in the home. And microwave ovens, automatic garage door openers, etc., etc. What's potentially much worse than RF in terms of ability to penetrate human tissue is the ELF in the overhead powerlines you hear with their 60Hz hum.

    We all gotta go somehow.
Exactly. Fortunately for me, I am apparently *not* one of those susceptible to RF cooties, or I would have been found dead on some roof next to cellular TX and Rx antennas, or in a cell site equipment hut 30 years ago.

And that is the crux of so many things. Grandma ate bacon and eggs everyday, or smoked a pack a day for 80 of her 90 years of living are often bandied about and they are those that are not susceptible individuals.

None of these things are going to happen everyone but they are highly likely to affect some individuals.

breathing, water, food are also all things highly likely to affect some individuals. That's life.

I really don't know what can be done, or what's the percentage of people who are actually susceptible as compared to the public in general, and NIMBY's specifically.

I have no doubt that the myriad of invisible energies/waves/signals are unhealthy at some level for most people. But I doubt they are deadly for most people. The predisposed are obviously at greater risk. And those not necessarily predisposed but who might have greater/longer exposure due to work or accidents might also suffer more than the average man. I accept my chances as they are. It is kinda weird how 5g has been seen as such a bogeyman compared to 3g.

Every time I read another story of the the 5G boogeyman, I recall the articles about 5G being used to transmit covid.

When it comes to the fears of 5G, there are two schools of thought. The first is the health and ecological effects of ever increasing higher energy EM transmissions. The second is that 5G, eventual 6G and further Generations being required for the application of the "Internet of Things". 4G operates roughly at the 450 Mhz - 3.2 Ghz, giving it a wavelength range of around 60cm to 7cm. 5G can operate from 600 Mhz - 50 Ghz, which is 50cm - 6mm. This gives 5G a much lower latency at the cost of range.

The health debate is interesting, and even though I am not ready to 'head for the hills' as far as 5G is concerned, there is indeed a physical effect when in the presence of ever increasing EM frequencies and radiation. If the frequency and energy go high enough, there will be negative effects. Just look up the 'Active Denial System' which operates at around 95 Ghz. On the more, um - interesting end, you have some that claim it can control thoughts.

The second debate is something I thing is much more of an issue, and that is the further implementation of the "Internet of Things" grid. Everything promised in 'Smart Cities' and 'Smart Homes' require high bandwidth low latency wireless connections. Self-driving cars, smart thermostats, Roombas, the eventual patrolling robo-cops, as more things get connected and need some sort of AI, firmware updates, DRM, the greater the requirements of wireless data transfer. Some could argue this is only a natural evolution of modern tech. I guess this would be more of a criticism of us relying too much on technology rather than a criticism of 5G.

Forgive my ramble, I just had a good discussion about this very subject at work today.

I wondered why I was having problems sleeping, head headaches, was dizzy and was fatigued, but then realize it was just because I finished filing my taxes!

That's silly. It was spread by airplanes....don't tell me you've never seen the cov-trails.
Wrong. It's the 5G that controls the nanobots that were injected via the vaccine. Try and keep up.

Current 5G running on 3.1 to just under 3.5 GHz and 4.4 to just over 4.9 GHz. You are bathing in those frequencies already if you have dual band router/wireless LAN - and because of inverse square likely at much higher amplitude than the pole unless it is right next to your house
