    Ezekiel 25:17.
    "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the
    tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through
    the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike
    down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you!

    John 3:19-21 (New International Version)

    19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

    I Corinthians

    13
    1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
    2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
    3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
    4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
    5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
    6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
    7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
    8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
    9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
    10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
    11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
    12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
    13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

    Matthew 17:20-21
    For truly I tell you, if you have faith
    the size of a mustard seed, you will
    say to this mountain, ‘Move from
    here to there,’ and it will move; and
    nothing will be impossible for you.”

    Mark 11:22-24
    Jesus answered them, “Have faith in
    God. Truly I tell you, if you say to this
    mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into
    the sea,’ and if you do not doubt in your
    heart, but believe that what you say will
    come to pass, it will be done for you. So I
    tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer,
    believe that you have received it, and it
    will be yours.

    These and many more have gotten me through some tough times.

    Blessed be the LORD, my rock, Who trains my hands
    for war, and my fingers for battle. Psalm 144:1

    And many, many others. Truth be told, it's been some time since I've picked up my Bible. It's been weighing on me as of late. Thanks for the motivation to reopen the Book. It's been far too long.

    The entire chapter of Proverbs 3 provides good words to live by. Two passages take precedence in my life.

    5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

    and

    13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding; 14 For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.

    Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13

    I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13

    I notice that it says KNOW. Not might, not maybe. We can KNOW for sure. Only by the sacrifice of Christ.

    Not really a scripture, just the best saying/advice I've ever heard (When you are done praying and asking God for advice,,,, "Shut up and listen")

    Genesis 2:7 "the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."

    Genesis 2:15 "The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it."
    After creating the world, God next made man, and gave to him work (caring for the Garden of Eden). To me this shows that work is an integral part of what God wants us to be. Not necessarily your job, but work. All too often I see great men become a shadow of themselves when they have no task to work on. Idle hands...

    Genesis 2:16-17
    "And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."

    Genesis 3:6
    "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it."
    God gives the command to Adam not to eat from the tree of knowledge. No place here can you see God speaking directly to Eve. Instead, I read this as it being Adam's responsibility to convey God's message to Eve. In Genesis 3:6, Eve takes the apple, tastes it, and then gave some to Adam who was with her. Adam was standing there as his wife was tempted by the serpent, and he did nothing. He failed in his responsibilities, and sin entered the world.

    Luke 18:16-17 But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.
    For my son.

    Proverbs 31:10-31 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies...[continues]
    For my wife.

    Job 1:20-21 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said:
    "Naked I came from my mother's womb,
    and naked I will depart.
    The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;
    may the name of the LORD be praised.
    For myself.

    Psalms 109

    1 Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
    2 for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me:
    they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
    3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred;
    and fought against me without a cause.
    4
    For my love they are my adversaries:
    but I give myself unto prayer.
    5
    And they have rewarded me evil for good,
    and hatred for my love.
    6
    Set thou a wicked man over him:
    and let Satan stand at his right hand.
    7
    When he shall be judged, let him be condemned:
    and let his prayer become sin.
    8
    Let his days be few;
    and let another take his office.

    This is NOT in the bible that way at all . It was made up for the movie Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino .

    Ezekiel 25:17 is this and ONLY this = " And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebuckes ; and they shall know that I am the lord , when I shall lay my vengeance upon them . "

    From the King James Version I keep in my night stand . It's not as " catchy " witch is why he added to it .
