      I was advised when I filed for my permit (i had the very same question) that if you have a friend with a permit you could have them "carry" it, get to the range, enjoy your shoot, and have them "carry" it back. That was the point ISP made to me.

      I just purchased a SCCY. Its a nice little gun; 50 rounds down range and I had no problems. I think I did pretty good for a 1st gun purchase. I paid a little over $250 for the CPX1 and around 200 rounds of mixed hollowpoints and full metal jacket target rounds.
