Primed Brass with Hornady Case Feeder

Thanks for the help. I ran a batch through today and it worked awesome. My first case I put through did get run through the sizing die again so I had to smack my forehead and reprime it.

Primed Brass with Hornady Case Feeder

Here's my situation. I should have explained this better in my initial post. I have always primed my brass as part of my case prep. Once I stepped up to my LNL-AP press I found it was still faster and to prime my rifle brass off the press during my case prep. Plus it is one less step that I had...

Primed Brass with Hornady Case Feeder

I have several thousand brass that I have primed off the press both in rifle and pistol calibers. I now got a case feeder installed and was wondering if I can run these cases through or if it will set off the primers or something crazy.

Are you still shooting or saving ammo?

Shooting just as usual for this time of year which is about nothing for this weather. Luckily I had loaded up on my components and ammo before the shortage and price increases. Once it warms up I will start shooting again just like normal.

      Winchester Model 100 concern

I am having some problems with my Winchester Model 100 in 308 caliber. This is a semi auto rifle I bought this gun a year or so ago from a friend. The gun had a problem of the case jamming in the chamber after firing the round. The extractor actually slips off the rim of the case. As soon as...

      reseating 45 acp

I am loading 230's. I did just load up some 185's to test but I had recieved some 230's free so thats what I have used so far. I agree that they are very accurate. They are not a terrible price either if you look around. They feed fine seating them at 1.230" but the groups are just a little...

      reseating 45 acp

I seated them @ 1.230" instead of 1.200". Basically just deep enough to fit in my mags. I have shot my reloads at both oal's and my gun shoots the 1.200" better. Maybe it is not worth the hassle for a couple hundred rounds:dunno:. The bullets are Hornady XTPs by the way.

      reseating 45 acp

I have some 45acp that I seated a little to long. I have already put the crimp on them. I was just curious if I could just put them back through the seating die and set them in to the correct depth?

What guns are at the top of your 2012 must have list?

I would like a 357 Mag, revolver and lever action rifle. My problem is I start saving up for it then I go to a gun show and come to find out, I just spent all my 'gun' money on ammo or reloading supplies or something else that I realised I needed or didn't have yet. So I will start saving again...

Jan '12 1500: Indy 1500 good riddance or can't wait til next show?

Will definately be going back. Yes the crowd is ridiculous, yes the prices are crazy for the most part, but as long as I do my homework before hand I always walk away with a few good deals. Plus where else can you go and handle pretty much every gun from every manufacture, accessories, gear...

Ultimate clip loader for MKIII's & buckmarks

These speed loaders are amazing. I just purchased one a few weeks back and I sure am glad I did, not saying that my buckmard mag is bad to load but when you can load a 10 round mag in under 5 seconds, you just can't pass it up.
