      FN Updates LE Carbines

      I like my SCAR 17S, but don't know if I'd bother with a FN AR. What's the point? I'd go buy a Colt M4 or KAC SR15 before I look elsewhere. I'm sure the FNs are very nice like any other well-made AR15, but again, just don't see the point. I'm sure they are going after LE contracts with this...

      Budget Hunting Rifle

      Picked up a beautiful 1983 pre-cross bolt safety Marlin 336C .30-30 for $400 even. Found in on gunbroker.com of all places. Barely used and in excellent condition. About as "budget" as I'm willing to go, personally.

      380 lovers, check out this article.

      I don't want to stock another caliber, so I avoid .380 guns for that reason alone. 9mm pistols have gotten so small that I don't see a need to give up more stopping power. Love .45 too, but I'll just stick to 9mm for carry needs.

      Not using my trust?

      Great discussion. Been wondering how to proceed with trust amendments now that I have 2 little ones. Wife is a responsible person on my trust, but not sure why. She doesn't care about this stuff and I don't like bothering her just to buy something...

      5.56 Suppressor Suggestions.

      I just purchased my first 5.56 suppressor - a Knights QDSS-NT4. Hopefully, the Form 4 process won't be as long as it has been on the last few items. Have zero experience with other 5.56 cans on the market, but do have experience with other KAC suppressors that I own (Mark 23 pistol, 7.62 QDC)...

      Vehicle safe
