Yo Brad - finally! Liking that awesome TFF-4. Your Micro-Praetorians must be coming down the line. The webpage looks great too. Well I best get off here and find some to wipe the drool.
Wholeheartedly agree with you Double T. I was at the show early in the day and got to meet Brad for first time. I had been in contact with both him and Knife Lady concerning an ESEE 5 prior to the show. Well after quite some time I looking over their great selection and handling several...
Once you get the itch or fever for a new blade it is like the "Borg" say: Resistance is futile. Enjoy your 200. I bought the 350 blacked out in the group buy and for me it is a tank. Now looking at a 561, but I got to hold an 801 (I think) at the Glass City Show yesterday and it great one...
Made it over to the show today. It was not huge, but my first all knife show only and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Talked with the guys from Blind Horse Knives, Spartan Blades, a few custom makers, and several dealers. Purchased a Spartan Blades Enyo and a fire steel to go with my BHK GNS when...
I am planning to go over to this on Friday, August 2nd. Hoping to meet the guys from BHK. Does anyone know of other makers or companies that are attending, which I should check out? I know it is not Blade, but it will be my first show totally dedicated to knives.
What kind of oil or other product do you use on your blades? If one is using there EDC for some food prep, what would you recommend? Lastly has anyone tried Froglube for this purpose?
I generally have used Sentry's Tuf-cloth in the past with decent results. Thanks all. BTW: great to have...
Great to read all these posts and opinions. Is it not great to have all the choices? Not everyone in this world have these opportunities. My new BHK Frontier First is enroute at the moment expected delivery is Thursday. Anxiously waiting.....
Thanks for the votes of confidence on my decision all. Got to talk with L.T. and his wife, Elaine, completed my order. I can tell they are great people in the little time I spent on the phone with them today.
OK, I checked out the virtual show this morning and ordered up a Frontier First with dangler sheath. It has black handles and D2 steel. Looking forward to getting this nice fixed blade to try out.
Appreciate the input all. Thanks for the heads up on the virtual show, usmcdjb. I may be able to catch part of it depending on the errand list tomorrow.
That is what I have read other places as well. They are going to be at the Glass City Knife Show in Toledo, OH the first weekend in August and I may go over to meet the guys there. Thanks Manatee and kawtech87 for your input.
Hey all, I am considering purchasing a knife from Blind Horse. Possibly there July special the GNS. Do any of you have a Blind Horse blade and what has your experience been? Would you recommend? Thanks for your comments.
