      Favorite electronic ears?

I own Sordins and Ops Core Amps with the NFMI buds, and also own some Otto Noizebarrier Micros. If shooting outside, in the open, the Micros are awesome. Shooting inside, not so much. The sound quality on the Amps is next level. None of the above are cheap.

There IS a Timer in a Gunfight by Chris Cypert

I went to Rogers a few years back. You shoot the test everyday, twice on Thursday (?), so six runs, keeping your best score. I was FURIOUS that on day one I shot a 56. Billy Lumpkin (AI for our class, former Devgru) started laughing at me, and said, "You're fine. The average cop shoots 35ish on...

There IS a Timer in a Gunfight by Chris Cypert

I think it was Tom Givens that I heard say, "There is absolutely a timer in a gunfight, and the other guy is holding it." Of course tactics, awareness, and a multitude of other things come into play, but when the bullets start flying, generally speaking, the person who lands accurate hits...

      Required Battle Gear

So...approximately 35lbs in guns and mags, without water, armor, etc? Better be living in the gym

      Staccato P Holster recommendations

I run mine in an Odin Holsters Tactical Valknut holster. Very happy with it.

      Staccato CS - Worth it?

Someone needs to tell my P it's supposed to be finicky. Right at 3500 rounds through it - a mix of 147gr AE, 115gr AE, 147gr HST, 124gr +P HST, 135gr Critical Duty, and 124gr NATO, without a single malfunction. She got a little sluggish when I went 400+ rounds without lubing it, but two drops of...

      AR 7.62x39 “Stoneikov” build

Built one up years ago. Used a Liberty Gun Works enhanced barrel, a Black Rifle Arms midlength gas barrel, an extra power hammer spring, and an enhanced firing pin. I run C-Products 28-round magazines in them, and in 7-8k rounds of steel case through it, have never had any issues. I built the...

      *Rumor* Springfield "Prodigy" 2011 Pistol

I like it a lot. If you are a person who simply has to have a momentary function, they are not for you. If you are not, they are awesome.

      *Rumor* Springfield "Prodigy" 2011 Pistol

Red Dirt USA. The grip module is Extreme Shooters with "Tactical" stippling. Noticeably thinner than the factory grip, and VERY grippy.

      *Rumor* Springfield "Prodigy" 2011 Pistol

Haven't shot a Prodigy, but my Staccato P has been rock solid. Sitting at just over 2500 rds total on it in about a month. 3 failures to extract when I went 600 rds without cleaning or lubing. Gun was extremely dry, and pretty gunky. Drop of lube at the back of each rail, drop of lube on the...

Beretta 1301 Shotgun yes or No

Yes, left-handed. It's my personally-owned duty shotgun. No issues at all with ejection. Yes, I added all of the things you listed.

Beretta 1301 Shotgun yes or No

I may be biased, but I say "yes."
