Thanks for pointing this out to us on Saturday, Bob. I had a great time (I think we all did). Very interesting about shooting better "off-handed with the left hand." That blew my mind. :D
Thanks for the heads-up, PLANEMECH. I plan on getting a membership there soon. Now I know what to look out for. :yesway:
The dues are extremely inexpensive at Blue Creek. Maybe it's time to double them? :dunno:
As an update, Ed called me today. He wanted to follow-up about another gun I'd mentioned to him before. He made sure that if/when I'm ready for said gun, that he'd explain the pros/cons for it and other similar weapons.
He also mentioned a guy he recommends for training.
I thought it was great...
In the interest of keeping more recent experiences in this thread, I'll post mine.
I just bought my first gun from Ed, on Saturday (9mm semi-auto pistol).
A friend, my brother, and father had all recently purchased from him and suggested I check his place out.
I called him up to set up...
I don't think they're intended to be swapped on the Crosshairs, but I believe there were 2 or 3 lens colors when I picked my pair out. If you have a small screwdriver, then you could loosen the frame to swap them out...assuming you were able to buy the other lens color(s) separately.
Another Oakley lover here...also had LASIK on the eyes nearly 4 years ago. No regression, 20/20, no regrets. My most recent (and still current) pair are some Polarized Oakley Crosshair 2.0's.
I love them. Great coverage and great color. The styling looks like an updated aviator, to me...
