Extended warranty on appliances?
Companies determine warranty plan pricing based upon the possibility of returns. So, they are definitely going to make money, but generally not as much margin as the product itself. Ruger SR22 color??
It just being on a portion of it seems weird though. I am not sure if that could occur by a portion of the slide not being fully submerged. -

It has to do with the bluing salts. If the solution is not controlled perfectly, it can have that affect on metal. -

Worst gun you ever bought!
Although I didn't buy it, the worst gun I owned was a Jennings 22. It was more a family "paper-weight" hand-me down. I think it was only fired about 5 times before it found its way to me. -

Why Glock?

XDm vs. XD9sc
I am definitely leaning towards the sc, although I am not sure if one has a definitive advantage over the other in 9mm...besides the slightly smaller size of the sc.
