      Awesome choice on your first handgun. I personally love the g19. My boss as well as room-mate just picked one up and I've shot them maybe 4 times at the range. I absolutely love them and wish I had one to carry.

      I would also go with the c9. Hi-points are horrible guns in the first place. You would be much better with a gun that didn't jam or break while in self defense areas...
