      Kel-Tec halts production/shipments of PMR-30

      I was very close to getting a PMR-30 about a month ago but decided to hold off due to issues I had read about with this gun. I'm glad I did. I still want one but I'll continue to wait and see if Kel-Tec can iron out the bugs.

      Zombies require headshots and close range isn't ideal (though may be necessary at times). So my first choice wouldn't be the typical handgun (9mm, .40, .45 semi-auto etc).       Perhaps. I've still read of some problems here and there with the new ones and repaired ones. I will still probably get one eventually though. Still in wait-and-see mode for now.

      My newest acquisition GP100 with Hi-viz front sight and badgercustom grips: Got it a couple weeks ago. I've only been to the range once with it thus far but will be going back soon to test out the new grips. Love the way they feel though.

      Sig Sauer P250

      I had a P250 9mm compact. It shot accurately and felt good in my hand. The DAO trigger has a long pull, but it's relatively light and very smooth. Only reason I got rid of it because I wanted something with a DA/SA trigger.

      MetroArms American Classic II, Commander, and Trophy can be had for under $600. They tend to get very positive reviews. I have a Trophy and it's great.
