      Can't seat to the cannelure

      I'm reloading .223 cases using 55 gr sp bullet with cannelures. If I seat the bullet deep enough for the case to touch the cannelure, it ends up below the minimum OAL.       Help! Lubing up, am I doing it wrong?

      You are using too much lube. I have found that RCBS clear lube is the best lube by far. I just put a drop or two on my index finger and rub my fingers together a bit and then grab a handful of cases and very briefly run the cases through my fingers.       I don't modify my Mosins. I leave them original. These are old rugged battle implements and to sissy them up with modern plastic Barbie accessories seems like an abomination.

      Reloading class need badly

      Mosin Porn, Soviet M44's 1943-48

      My M44 is probably my favorite rifle, even though I have rifles that I paid 10x more than I paid for it. It is a solid, beefy well balanced rifle that I love to shoot. And the looks of everyone's faces on the range when it rips off a fireball and sounds like a cannon is priceless.
