I don't modify my Mosins. I leave them original. These are old rugged battle implements and to sissy them up with modern plastic Barbie accessories seems like an abomination.
I taught myself reloading by watching Youtube videos. It worked pretty well. You would be surprised at how many fingers and toes I still have. :rockwoot:
My M44 is probably my favorite rifle, even though I have rifles that I paid 10x more than I paid for it. It is a solid, beefy well balanced rifle that I love to shoot. And the looks of everyone's faces on the range when it rips off a fireball and sounds like a cannon is priceless.
